After a few false starts on Sunday thinking there was wind but getting hit by rain squall, the clouds finally lifted in the afternoon and a SW flow built. I caught it just as it started around 4pm, and could already tell the wind was dying by the time I finished 50 minutes later. Made it back just in time for dinner and a late evening drive down to the city.
Very nice to hit the moment right - even if I had to rig the 9.0 metre sail!
14.25 km, 44.5 km/h top speed.
