I’ve decided that surfing counts for blog entries!
This morning I headed out to Sunset Point to go surfing. I picked up Len’s good board on the way and was already in my wetsuit. Surfing does have the advantage of not needing to assemble any gear. I was out on the water in no time.
It was a struggle for me to paddle out into the strong NW wind. I did make use of the slight rip by shore and made it out 4x. I got two small runs in half sitting on the board. One run in resulted in nothing. But there was one good wave where I stood up and rode it in.

I can’t decide if I envied the guys on SUPs. I generally prefer stand up paddle boarding, but into that wind it looked even more challenging than using your arms.
After 40 minutes I was done and got a Starbucks mocha on the way home. Tomorrow looks promising for wing foiling.
In the afternoon Timo and I had another great skiing session.
| Timo likes starting on the magic carpet |
| But by the end he’s roaring down intermediate runs |
