Dinner time in Hatteras

Our 15 person shared house has a great vibe and that includes a dinner rotation where one group is responsible for cooking for everyone on one night. Today was our day to cook, so between shopping for that and a charity conference call, I wasn't sure I'd get much time on the water.

Chill vibe in the Hatteras house

Indeed after a slow start I got on the water with my 6.0 wing just as the wind was dropping. I got a short session with a lot of touchdowns where the foil ran up on the sandy bottom. It nicely smoothed out some of the damage from Georgian Bay rocks.

Lots of touchdowns on the sandy bottom

A few wing runs

After some leftover tacos I showered and got ready for my meeting. After that a big shop at the Food Lion/Grub Cat had us prepared for dinner.

I got a second session with the 4.7 and 99cm foil which was more time on the water than I expected. A few Baja fogs were consumed.

Only touched the bottom a few times in the afternoon

Some decent jibes in there

Our farfalle pasta dinner with sausages and sun dried tomatoes was a success with lots of wine and great conversation. Some scotch ended the night and a good sleep followed. More wind predicted for Wednesday and Thursday.
